Fradi is still on top
Ferencváros grabbed a 1-1 draw against Diósgyőr in the last game of the Hungarian football league's 25th round on Sunday night.

The defending champions, Ferencváros, found themselves in a difficult situation early in the match as they were reduced to ten men. In the 23rd minute, Civic picked up his second yellow card, which resulted in a red card and forced Fradi to play with one player less. Despite this setback, the game continued with both teams battling for control.
In the 32nd minute, a long throw-in created a dangerous situation in the box. Varga Barnabás was fouled inside the penalty area and went down after a challenge from a Diósgyőr defender. The referee didn't hesitate and pointed to the penalty spot, awarding Fradi a penalty. Varga, who had been fouled, was the one to step up and take the spot kick.

Initially, Pesic, one of Fradi's attackers, grabbed the ball and looked set to take the penalty. However, after a brief exchange, Varga signaled that he would take it himself, and Pesic stepped aside. Varga confidently converted the penalty, giving Fradi the lead despite being a man down.
Before the break, DVTK equalized when Pozeg-Vancas scored from close range after a deflected ball. After the restart, the score stayed the same. The home team put more pressure on Fradi for a while, but it didn't last long, and the final minutes were pretty boring.
As a result, Puskás Akadémia is now leading the league with a four-point advantage. They secured a 2-0 victory in Nyíregyháza, with Finnish forward Nissila scoring both goals for the team. Looking ahead, Fradi has a busy week coming up, as they will face Újpest twice in the following week.
